We had a great performance on Friday at Meet The Eagles! Check out some great photos of our band students (including several band students on the cheer squads and walking with their teams) on the CHS Facebook page:

Our Fundraise Genius fundraiser launched this week! You can track our progress here:

https://fundraisegenius.com/crowley-band

It’s not too late to get in on the action – log in to Fundraise Genius to upload your contacts who you think might financially support the Mighty Eagle Band. Our goal is 5 donors per student, but the more you list, the more money we can bring in! All funds raised will go to the Band Booster to help support the band. If we meet our goal of $10,000 raised, the top fundraiser student gets to take the clippers to Mr. Dunning’s head!

UNT Green Brigade logoMoney for UNT day is due no later than Monday 8/22. Bring $5 cash or check (made out to CHS Band Booster) to the band office.

Thank you to those who already signed up to chaperone this trip. If you still want to chaperone, please sign up through Charms to be added to the waiting list. UNT only allows one chaperone per 10 students.

Parents who want to attend the game without chaperoning can purchase discounted tickets through the Green Brigade.

We still need several parent volunteers to assist Friday night at the CHS/NCHS game. We specifically need:

  • Pit crew – meet the band just before halftime, assist moving equipment onto the field for the show and back off. Very short job, and a great seat for the show!
  • Concession stand – two different shifts available. Football concessions are a huge part of our fundraising activities for the year.

Volunteer opportunities are posted to Charms. For more information, contact volunteer coordinator Lorna Tran at lotran914@gmail.com.

Our annual Fundraise Genius fundraiser is under way! If you have not already, please log in to Fundraise Genius to upload your contacts who you think might financially support the Mighty Eagle Band. Our goal is 5 donors per student, but the more you list, the more money we can bring in! All funds raised will go to the Band Booster to help support the band.

Our band boosters run the concession stand at home football games every year, and bring in a very nice profit to benefit the band. Bring donations to help stock up, and the top 3 get to pie a band director in the face!

UNT Green Brigade logoUNT Day is coming up on Saturday, September 4. Students will perform alongside the UNT Green Brigade on the field at halftime and sit with the Green Brigade in the stands. The only cost to students for this trip is $5 for lunch. We need chaperones to join us on this trip – one chaperone for every 10 students, first come first served.

Chaperones please sign up through Charms.

Parents who want to attend the game without chaperoning can purchase discounted tickets through the Green Brigade.

The Mighty Eagle Band needs your help! We are looking for several parents who can commit to:

  • Meal crew to help feed the band at away games
  • Concession stand help for home games
  • Pit crew for all games and contests

Volunteer opportunities are posted to Charms. For more information, contact volunteer coordinator Lorna Tran at lotran914@gmail.com.
