You made it through the first week of school!
Thanks to all who came out to the parent preview and ice cream social. We hope to make this an annual tradition!
Our annual Fundraise Genius fundraiser is under way! If you have not already, please log in to Fundraise Genius to upload your contacts who you think might financially support the Mighty Eagle Band. Our goal is 5 donors per student, but the more you list, the more money we can bring in! All funds raised will go to the Band Booster to help support the band.
Our band boosters run the concession stand at home football games every year, and bring in a very nice profit to benefit the band. Bring donations to help stock up, and the top 3 get to pie a band director in the face!
UNT Day is coming up on Saturday, September 4. Students will perform alongside the UNT Green Brigade on the field at halftime and sit with the Green Brigade in the stands. The only cost to students for this trip is $5 for lunch. We need chaperones to join us on this trip – one chaperone for every 10 students, first come first served.

Parents who want to attend the game without chaperoning can purchase discounted tickets through the Green Brigade.
The Mighty Eagle Band needs your help! We are looking for several parents who can commit to:
- Meal crew to help feed the band at away games
- Concession stand help for home games
- Pit crew for all games and contests

Friday – Meet The Eagles pep rally
6:00 – student call time in the band hall (in place, dressed, ready to play).
7:00 – event begins in the stadium
8:00 (estimated) – event ends
Uniform – khaki or jean shorts, athletic shoes, MEB shirt (on order, arriving soon)
