Full rehearsal this week, and a trip to East Dallas!

Mon – 5-8 marching rehearsal
Tue – 5-8 marching rehearsal
Wed – 4:30-6:00 UNT group music rehearsal
Thu – 7:00 jazz rehearsal, 5-7 marching rehearsal
Fri – Game day!
Sat – UNT Day! (optional, $10)
Friday schedule
6th period – students report to band hall
Load truck, change clothes (travel uniforms), load buses
Dinner at CiCi’s Pizza
7:00 kickoff
11:30 ETA back to CHS

UNT Day schedule
The MEB joins the UNT Green Brigade and Tom “Bones” Malone at halftime! This is an optional event, $10 cost includes lunch. Deadline to register is Wednesday morning at 8AM. Sign up here:

All students who will attend on Saturday need to attend a rehearsal on Wednesday from 4:30-6:00.
Saturday schedule:
6:45AM doors open
7:00 call time
Load truck and buses, depart for UNT
9:00 rehearsal with UNT students and Bones Malone
11:30 lunch provided (McAlister’s)
2:10 watch UNT Green Brigade pregame show
2:30 kickoff
3:45 (approximate) perform halftime show with UNT GB
6:15 (approximate) return to buses
7:45 (approximate) return to CHS, unload, dismissed
We have a limited number of chaperone spots available at the $10 rate (includes game ticket and lunch). Chaperones must travel with us and assist with supervising students. Parents who want to attend the game only can purchase a discounted ticket here:

AT&T Stadium Events
Parents (and students who are 18), come join us at AT&T Stadium! Working with BEST Event Management pays $11/hour into your band account. The work is easy, and most positions have a view of the game! Background check and NFL credentialing required, paperwork takes about a week to process, so start now!

USBands Crowley 10/4/25
Hosting USBands is a huge fundraiser for the band program! This is a joint effort with the NCHS Mighty Panther Band. We need all hands on deck to make the event a success!
Event Host volunteers
Parents and students can sign up for various jobs around the stadium! We need help on various shifts from 6 AM to 11 PM. Students can earn service hours for working shifts! Some jobs are adults only, some are open to students. Details on the signup.

MEB Operations volunteers
The MEB performs at the contest in the afternoon (approximately 2PM, will be finalized soon). We need parent help to push on and off the field. Sign up here:
