Competition week 3 – push to UIL!
The MEB had a great performance on Saturday at our home show! Competing in a higher class than last year, we improved our score both week to week and year to year. On to Burleson, and then UIL!
Week 7 – Middle school night and contest!
Very busy week this week (Bandtober!). Off-site performance Wednesday morning, Middle School night on Thursday, stadium rehearsal Friday, contest Saturday!
Weekly Schedule
Mon – 5-7:30 marching rehearsal
Tue – 5-7:30 marching rehearsal
Wed – 6AM 95.9 The Ranch Spirit Showdown
Thu – 7:00 jazz rehearsal, middle school night at the game
Fri – AM stadium rehearsal
Sat – USBands at Burleson

All MEB students are invited to the Spirit Showdown on Wednesday morning! Wear your MEB polo with any school-appropriate attire.
5:45 AM doors open (bring coffee)
6:00 call time at school/load truck/board buses
7:15 pep rally live on air! (Broadcast on 95.9, 92.1 and 95.5)
9:00 pep rally at Kroger (Crowley Rd)
10:15 back to CHS, go to 4th period
Thursday – Middle School Night at the game
Thursday night, we expect 150 students from HF Stevens and Richard Allie middle school bands! The middle school students will join us in the stands and perform at halftime.
7th period – leadership students report to band hall with instruments
8th period – all band students report to band hall with instruments
After school – quick pack/load/eat, go to the game!
6:30 – pregame performance of Desperado
Halftime – performance with middle school students
Friday – stadium rehearsal
8:00 AM – call time at CHS, board buses to stadium
9-12 – rehearsal at stadium
1:00 – ETA back to CHS

Parents (and students who are 18), come join us at AT&T Stadium! Working with BEST Event Management pays $11/hour into your band account. The work is easy, and most positions have a view of the game! Background check and NFL credentialing required, paperwork takes about a week to process, so start now!
